Nas, all’anagrafe Nasir Jones, è considerato da moltissimi uno dei migliori artisti hip hop della storia, e ha da poco annunciato che ri-pubblicherà – in occasione del ventesimo anniversario – il suo album di debutto: Illmatic. La riedizione, intitolata Illmatic XX, conterrà un disco bonus con remix, demo e freestyle. L’album esce il 15 aprile via Sony Legacy. Trovate le tracklist dei due dischi più sotto.
Quest’anno verrà anche pubblicato Time Is Illmatic, un documentario sulla produzione del disco: è diretto da One9 e Erik Parker.
