Si intitola Help Us Stranger e sarà pubblicato il 21 giugno da Third Man Records/PIAS il terzo attesissimo album dei Raconteurs, di cui abbiamo già ascoltato Sunday Driver e Now That You’re Gone.
La band di Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence e Patrick Keeler non si riuniva per pubblicare un disco da dieci anni, ovvero dall’uscita di Consolers of the Lonely (2018). White e Benson hanno scritto tutte le canzoni del disco, con l’eccezione della cover di Hey Gyp (Dig The Slowness) di Donovan. Registrato ai Third Man Studios di Nashville, l’album è prodotto dai Raconteurs con l’aiuto dell’ingegnere Joshua V. Smith e vede la partecipazione anche di amici di vecchia data e collaboratori quali il tastierista/polistrumentista Dean Fertita (The Dead Weather, Queens of the Stone Age) e Lillie Mae Rische con sua sorella Scarlett Rische.
